My approach is rooted in warmth, empathy, and respect for your unique experiences. Trauma therapy means meeting you where you are and working at your pace. YOU are a collaborative partner in this process and building trust is of the utmost importance to our work.

Together, we will create a personalized treatment plan that meets your needs, ensuring that you feel heard, validated, and empowered throughout your therapeutic journey.

Psychotherapy is not one-size fits all.

We will collaborate with you to develop a personalized treatment plan.

YOU have agency on your healing journey.

Trauma comes in many forms.
Left unprocessed, it can cause
long-term suffering.

It can be difficult to seek treatment for trauma. Online trauma therapy requires a deep level of trust and vulnerability. Sharing personal experiences and emotions with a therapist can be daunting, particularly if trust has been broken in the past.

Building trust and establishing a strong therapeutic rapport are essential to our work. We are highly trained in working with PTSD and trauma, and I navigate sessions with empathy and respect to avoid retraumatization.

We use a holistic, person-centered approach and collaborate with you on your care. With this recovery model, we know YOU are your best advocate, and will work with you so you feel comfortable every step of the way.

You don't have to face your trauma alone. We can walk together while cultivating resiliency and working towards healing.

We work with individuals and couples who have experienced trauma and are presenting symptoms of PTSD or any trauma-related diagnosis. You don’t need to have a PTSD diagnosis to work with us.

You don't have to face your trauma alone.

WE CAN WALK TOGETHER WHILE CULTIVATING RESILIENCY AND WORKING TOWARDS HEALING.

How Online Therapy for Trauma and PTSD Works

IF YOU’VE NEVER BEEN TO THERAPY BEFORE, YOU MAY BE WONDERING HOW THE THERAPEUTIC PROCESS WORKS.

You will not be asked to discuss traumatic memories or events in the first session. We have extensive training in trauma therapy modalities, so not only do we use an evidence-based approach, but we collaborate with you to determine the best course of action for your specific treatment.

All of the treatments we provide are time-limited. This means that once you are willing to face your trauma, you can participate in an evidence-based therapy that lasts anywhere from 12 to 16 sessions. That doesn’t mean we won’t spend time developing the therapeutic relationship or addressing and unpacking other issues. It’s important that you feel comfortable working together, and we can always continue to work together on other issues if you need additional support or “booster” sessions.

We offer respectful, culturally-competent, evidence-based trauma online therapy services.

We utilize the following evidence-based psychotherapies and modalities to treat trauma-related diagnoses and their co-ocurring symptoms:

● EMDR: Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing
(EMDRIA approved training)

● IBCT: Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy

● WET: Written Exposure Therapy

● DBT PE: Trauma in Dialectical Behavior Therapy - THE DBT Prolonged
Exposure Protocol

● TriGR: Trauma-Informed Guilt Reduction Therapy

● ERP: Exposure and Response Prevention

● STAIR: Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation

● IRT: Image Rehearsal Therapy

● TF-CBT: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

● CBT-D: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression

● CBT-A: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Anxiety

● CBT for Panic Disorders

● DBT: Dialectical Behavior Therapy

● MBCT: Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy

● CPT: Cognitive Processing Therapy

● CBCT-PTSD: Cognitive Behavioral Conjoint Therapy for PTSD

● PE: Prolonged Exposure Therapy

● ACT: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

Inclusivity | Reflection Psychology | Trauma Therapy

At Reflection Psychology, all are welcome.

We are LGBTQ+ advocates and kink and poly-friendly.

You can feel free to be yourself.

This means you can curse in session if you want! You can be as formal or informal as you’d like.

Let me see the real you. We want you to feel comfortable showing up as your whole, authentic self.

And if you feel as though you’ve lost yourself... or never knew who you really were in the first place... We can help you discover who you really are. You just need willingness to show up – even if you are wondering if you are ready.

YOU are powerful. YOU can heal from PTSD.

How Trauma Therapy Can Help You…

When we talk about PTSD, there isn’t one magical “cure” we can point you to. But after years of working at various outpatient clinics, colleges, state and VA hospitals, we know that one thing is clear: You have the power to heal and overcome PTSD. You can learn to manage your symptoms, regain control over your life, and reconnect with family and friends you may have lost after the trauma.

In therapy, you'll gain the tools to recognize and understand your emotions, nurture a sense of safety within your body, and enhance your communication skills both in your relationships and professional life. We'll support you in cultivating self-compassion so you can extend the same kindness and care to yourself that you readily offer to others.

We offer evidence-based trauma therapy online so you can feel safe, empowered, and seen.

When you have the support to safely examine difficult situations from your past, you open the door to profound and genuine connections.

In the face of the challenges you've encountered, it's important to acknowledge the strength and resilience within you. While it might feel hard to believe right now... We want you to know you have incredible potential to grow, heal, and create a brighter future. We are genuinely excited to witness the remarkable journey you're embarking on as you move forward in life.

Remember, you are not defined by what you've been through. With support, compassion, and a steadfast belief in your resilience, there is hope for a beautiful transformation ahead.
